Cathy Day 
 
After completing her B.A. in Kinesiology and Sociology of Health and Aging at the University of Western Ontario in 2006, Cathy traveled to India and Nepal to pursue her passion for yoga. There she met her guru in the Himalayas, and through an intensive, one-on-one training program, she became a Hatha Yoga instructor.
She now enjoys sharing this truly enlightening experience with her clients as she offers a taste of the original yoga from the East. Cathy is also a certified Reiki practitioner, is pursuing further education in Shiatsu therapy, and is the owner of Awear Eco-boutique.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Hatha Yoga I (Tues): Back to Basics. This class incorporates Hatha yoga posses and incorporates building strength and increasing flexibility. Emphasis is on building a strong foundation for your yoga practice. Beginners welcome.

Hatha Yoga II (Thurs): This class introduces the concept of Vinyasa which connects Hatha yoga poses into flowing sequences. Emphasis is on coordinating breath and movement. Beginner to intermediate.

 Advancing Your Practice (Wed): Progress your practice as sessions move from the foundations of Hatha yoga to flowing Hatha Vinyasa sequences and advanced poses. Meditation and breath work incorporated. All participants will be intermediate to advanced practitioners by last session. Beginner to advanced.

Hatha Vinyasa Flow (Sunday): Enjoy moving your body in the rhythm of your breath and increasing your strength and flexibility. Flowing yoga pose sequences for all levels.
 
 
Space in each class is limited to 15 participants
                  
About Sarah Applegarth 

Sarah Applegarth,
MSc, CSEP -CEP, CSCS
is an exercise physiologist who specializes in monitoring a coach based training system.  Her work  varies from working with elite athletes trying to achieve their dreams to helping people keep fit and active for life's challenges.
 
Her Masters Degree is in Adolescent Growth and Development from McMaster University.
