Recomended blends from Sarah Applegarth - follow links

Mocha Mud - Great for the early ride or workout.  Easy to digest and tastes great.

Infinit Repair - Best recovery drink we have worked with, has three forms of carbohydrates, protein and tastes great. Must be consumed immediately after workout.

Infinit Ride - For those that need that extra boost during workouts or long endurance activities.  Great way to keep up calories.  Equivalent to a couple of gel packs or bars and tastes great.

After an instense workout, what you eat and drink may determine how quickly you come back.  Check out this great graphic from the New York Times.

MULTI - SPORT CAMPS (Ages 7 to 14)

The Active Life Conditioning Team is coming together to offer multi - sport camps.  Inspired and aligned with Canada's Sport 4 Life model with Long Term Athlete development in mind, youth are taught proper movement patterns and challenged with coordination movement, strength and cardiovascular tasks through games and fun exercises during each session.  Sessions will be taught by experts within each sport in an enjoyable, supportive environment.

Sports included are;
  • Mountain Biking - in 3 Stage from intro loops for beginners to advanced depending on the skill level of the rider
  • Soccer - with local experts
  • Rugby - with Sean Rennie
  • Speed, Agility, and Strength sessions with exercise physiologist Sarah Applegarth
  • Yoga - with local expert Cathy Day
  • Trampoline - at the Collingwood Trampoline  Club
  • Swimming
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Trail Running
  • Hiking and Caving
  • Tennis
The purpose of these camps is to build physical literacy.  There is no doubt that good athleticism builds self confidence and prepares athletes for life's challenges as well as an overall positive experience in sports.  Missing the window for physical literacy will inhibit the ability to optimise skills.  Sports specialization at an early age limits kids from exposure to new activities with different learning scenarios and acquiring new skills.
Camps run from 9 am until 4 pm each day

Registration
To register for the camp please email camps@activelifeconditioning.com  or call 705 888 6337.  We will email you a registration form with waivers to fill out along with Credit card information.   Forms can also be picked up at the facility.
